Can I do Paleo?
Well let us see here. I am 22 years of age and newly married and I started Paleo about mid January 2013. It is now officially March 12, 2013 and I was 141(thank you marriage) and am currently 131. (thank you paleo). It has not been that hard. Like everything, or like ever habit, it takes 21 days. Try it! It is hard right at first cause your place is filled with stuff you normally ate. When you come home crack open the chips or make a piece of toast. Now my fridge looks like a garden.
My husband just eats what I eat a lot of the time. He is fine with it because Paleo is so much meat. What is awesome about this "life style" is that you eat a lot more vegetables than I bet you are eating now. This blog is made to give recipes that are easy and good. Please for give me though because my recipes are usually feelings.....not tablespoon this or that but for your sake I will try my best. It has become second nature to me though to start any keep this "diet". One thing you do not have to worry about it dropping a ton of weight all at once. What I mean by that is, this isn't a yo-yo "diet". This is a way of life.
You slowly but surely lose weight and feel good about it. Working out is also encouraged because of the weight loss. I am going to tell you though, you may be thinking "well jeez, I cant have anything good like dessert or something like that?" Nope. This is what the blog is for, I have made so many desserts and they are all great, BUT you do not feel like crap after. Do not get me wrong I do splurge sometimes but I will warn you it doesn't feel as good as you would think. I save weekends for splurging here or there but I hardly do anymore because i just don't crave it like I really did once.
So enough with me, I will get to the good stuff soon. Just try it. It is awesome and you will feel normal again. I hate gaining weight and feeling sloppy, this make you feel like you did something good all day long!
